Lex Cosmetics Arcoiris

Lex Cosmetics is a unique company, in which the products are created by YOU. Customers/Fans upload pictures that inspire them, and it is then voted upon which one should be made into a nail polish! SO COOL.

Don’t forget, you can win Lex Cosmetics Tuileries in my Giveaway!!

The newest member of the cosmetics family is Arcoiris. Here is the beautiful story behind Arcoiris:

Fernanda said that she had searched for a long time for a rainbow glitter nail polish. She said, “I have always been obsessed with rainbows because they inspire hope, like after a rainy day you see this brilliant, beautiful rainbow. And, of course glitter, is always in style.”

10% will be donated to lung cancer research.

Fernanda definitely got her wish. This beautiful glitter BONANZA is just that. A glitter bomb of rainbows! It reminds me a lot of OPI Rainbow Connection (and I will get a COMPARISON* between Rainbow Connection, Milani Gems, and Lex Cosmetics Arcoiris in the coming days!). Let’s take a look at this beauty! I layered it over itself, but I’m sure it’d look just as great layered over anything else.

Okay, so if you’re digging this (and this is WAY easier to find than OPI Rainbow Connection, let me tell you!), you can purchase it directly from the Lex Cosmetics website OR for a VERY VERY LIMITED time, you can grab it for a cheap price at Sneakpeeq, which is a REALLY fun site where you can “peeq” at prices and get badges for 20% off, FREE shipping, etc. You will get $10 credit for signing up (making this polish $1, and you could possibly also earn a FREE shipping badge if you share on Facebook). Also, the prices are much cheaper than retail. Go check it out, and HAPPY SHOPPING!!!

Once again, you can find Lex Cosmetics HERE.

Absolut Lacquer Innocence, Circus and Evil Queen

I have another Indie for you called Absolut Lacquer. Another glitter galore!

First off, I have Innocence. Innocence is a pastel mix of hexes – really sweet. I layered this over your basic white. I am thinking that next time it would look better over a darker color to show off its true beauty. Maybe a teal? This will be perfect in the springtime or during Easter. Truly pretty and quite easy to apply, as well. One of coat of glitter is shown below.

Circus is what got me tongue-twisted. I LOVE rainbow glitters right now and just can’t get enough! This one satisfied that craving. These rainbow hexes are just so pretty and dainty. I layered this over LVX Callais. This is one coat of glitter.

Evil Queen reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, even though there is an evil queen in most fairytales. That’s the first thing that popped into my head. Probably because of the red glitters. I layered this over China Glaze Kalahari Kiss. One coat needed.

Pretty & Polished Mardi Party, Clouds in My Coffee, and Power Cosmic

I was so excited when Chelsea asked me to review her new collection! I think I have more Pretty & Polished’s than I have any other Indies! I love all of them, and I will have another Pretty & Polished spam soon with a bunch of her pretties! :)

Mardi Party is just as it sounds – FESTIVE! Layered over LVX Callais, it looks like a rainbow in the sky! This was only one coat of Mardi Party, so I can imagine how much glitter would come out in 2 or even 3 coats! Right now, I love all sorts of rainbow glitters, so this was truly welcome in my collection!

Clouds in My Coffee was pretty much my fave. I didn’t really like it against my skintone, so I may layer it over another nude polish to see if it pops! It was a gorgeous shimmery taupe base (which definitely looks like MY coffee – packed with cream!) and pretty sky blue (like clouds!) hexes and glitters floating about! Dreamy! :) This was 3 coats layered over itself.

Power Cosmic is like a rainforest in a nail polish bottle. I truly love it. I just could NOT capture it, there was such a glare on it. I apologize. I layered it over LVX Avireo (a dusty sage army green) and it was the perfect base. It really helped it come to life. It’s definitely a must buy! This is 2 coats layered over LVX Avireo.
